There is no tree quite like the one at Rockefeller Center. The giant tree has been lighting up visitors’ faces for over 75 years. This is the number one must see of the holiday season, so go see the lights before they turn off at 11:30pm!

The Rockettes put on their annual holiday show at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. Lavish costumes and talented dancers will make your jaw drop and your soul sing. Millions of people make a trip to the music hall every year so hurry up because the show only lasts until January 2nd!

Macy’s New York City is the most iconic department store of the season with some of the most elaborate decorations. Keep in mind, popularity brings a crowd so you must expect a line… but then again who wouldn’t want to see Santa?

The Downtown Traveler said it best, “Department store windows appeal to New Yorkers’ two main passions: art and shopping.” Magical window displays span the entire city luring New Yorkers into the streets to enjoy the artwork.
*Tip from a New Yorker- avoid downtown, midtown does it better. Here’s a map to help!

5. Ice Skating
The top 5 tour will circle you back around to the Rockefeller Center ice skating rink – unless of course you want to see more! Ice skating is a popular option for the holidays and a fun family activity, however Central Park’s Wollman Rinkcan offer the same laughs for less. You can choose for yourself and compare these photos.
Whether you make it to New York City this holiday season or not, all of us here at Foto Cabina wish you and your loved ones a Merry Christmas and a happy new year!
